Established in 1904, Proserpine’s Prince of Wales Hotel has been a mainstay of the Whitsundays ever since.

The perfect highway stopover before heading into Airlie Beach or driving further north, the Prince of Wales Hotel is the must-do destination for cold drinks and great food.

Locals and tourists alike enjoy the historical setting, great atmosphere and clean rooms.

Located in Proserpine’s main street, the Prince of Wales Hotel is close to the free RV camping ground, and right next door to the renowned ‘Colour Me Crazy’.

“I don’t know what change the PoW has gone through since the last time I’ve eaten there, but WOW! The food we ate was to die for, I was expecting to maybe order a pizza..or a parmi but the menu was so unique and different to any pub, I LOVED the Korean and Japanese influence thats been brought in and the experience i had was different to any pub bistro I’ve been to in a very very long time. I will definitely eat here again, mostly because I really want to try every item on the menu!”
